It had been.. about a week now, that Sarah had moved out of her parents' house and 'started her own life', as she liked to call it. She had it all figured out. The apartment, the moving of her stuff, the job, a plan had been formed to make sure she wouldn't be left alone empty handed, forced to become a hooker, or a drug dealer, or a stripper, or whatever. But her plan had been shot to sunshine in a very pivotal moment in her life.
She'd found a bar.
So, after a few tequila shots, [or maybe more then a few], the bartender had called her a cab. But when she'd told him she had no place for the cab to take care, he'd simply offered her some more tequila. On the house. And, you have to trust me on this one, when you're offering Sarah free tequila shots.. she won't say no and be wise and walk away. Especially at a time like this, where she just.. had to forget everything that had happened in the past few days. The tequila had done the job, but the next morning, it was there again. The worry. So she'd gotten herself an apartment, and moved all of her stuff in, said goodbye to her sisters, and had started looking for a job.
She'd eventually found one, at some sort of new funky hiphop club called the Garden Of Eden. They were apparently very much in need of new bartenders, so she'd applied, and been hired. She would have rather become a waitress, or a bartender in a bar, instead of some sort of club, but it paid rather well, and you could say she'd been quite desperate at the time she was applying for almost every job in the city. So here she actually was, not to drink, but to work.
She was wearing simple jeans, with a black blouse, and black high heeled shoe's. Apparently, it was a rule here not to wear anything sleazy. Like, baseball caps and sneakers. So she'd pulled out something good on her first day of work, and a few men had already given her some approving winks. So it seemed this job suited her better then she might have expected.
She stepped towards the bar, and tried to understand something who was screaming her lungs out to overcome the loud music. Sarah shrugged and poured her a shot of vodka. It was a good guess, because the girl looked happy, threw it back, and smiled at her. Ooookay. She was about to help another customer who was screaming at her when she felt someone tap her shoulder. It was one of her fellow bartenders, who was telling her to go to the other side of the bar. She didn't exactly know why, but the girl followed his orders, and made her way to the other part of the crowd. She managed to make the best smile she could, appear on her face.
"What can I get you?"
