Christian walked down the beach slowly, trying to prevent the sand from getting in his shoe. He really wasn't into the whole sand thing. In fact, it was rather inconvenient. Whenever he wore any shoes, it got in his shoes. It got in his clothes, in his hair, all over his notebook (in case he should become inspired and write something), and in his mouth. That was the worst part, biting down and crunching on sand.
Sand got into his shoe, no matter how hard he tried to prevent it, so Christian sat down carefully and got it out. Then he realized that now his butt was covered in sand. Jolly. He wiped it off, and got sand on his hands. Christian did the only thing he knew to do: waved his arms in circles. Sure, he looked like an idiot, but at least the sand was gone.
That completed, Christian spread out a towel and sat on it, opening his idea notebook in front of him. Being a free-lance writer meant always being prepared. If a brilliant thought should strike him, he needed to be able to write it down.
But the sun was beating down, and the water was so alluring. Unable to take it anymore, Christian whipped off his shirt and dropped his notebook, running and diving into the surf. As he resurfaced, he grinned. That was much better.

Ahh, the beach. That salty aroma of the ocean being carried by the wind. The sight of the sun reflecting upon the water creating a shimmering image. Sure the sand could get scorching hot, but it was winter. This also indicated that as the weather cooled down, the number of visitors would diminish. Which resulted in the beach being less crowded on a daily basis. But that wasn't anything to complain about. This area was famous for it's impeccable beaches, so coming here on a day where there weren't many people was a treat. No little kids running around to interrupt the activities of others, and getting into the business of other adults.
This day, Raina had been sitting along the beach, her feet dipped into the cool, refreshing water. She outstretched her legs, then digging her feet into the thick, wet sand. Unlike other people, she loved the sensation of the sand, between her toes. She didn't mind the other situation that came along with sand such as it ending up in her mouth or in her clothes. Maybe being raised in a coastal area of Brazil made her react this way to the beach and give her such a positive attitude towards this.
Taking her mind off the sand, water, and sun, something caught Raina's eye. A male figure had arrived on the beach, not too far from her. Her aquatic colored eyes watched him i surprise. The detail that surprised her is the fact he was seemingly writing. Of all the things to do on the beach he was writing. That struck her as really stramge. But maybe that's where his insipiration came from. She knew herself that her deepest thoughts were gathered when she sat and contemplated at the beach.
A small smile crossed her face when she saw him dive into the surf. Such a quick change of mind surprised her. She lied down, into the warm sand, closing her eyes. She enjoyed the feeling of the warm sun, but she never tanned on the beach. It was nothing she ever found necessary for her at least.
[OOC: Sorry it's so bad, my muse is runnig away from me]

((*Catches muse and hands it back*. But it wasn't bad. Very descriptive))
Christian played around in the water a little more, generally goofing off and enjoying himself. His mother had always hoped that maybe getting a job would force him to mature, but she had been wrong. Christian didn't have a real job, or rather, he did, but it was on his own time. He still had enough time to go to his Mom's house and eat dinner, and to hang out with his younger sister, or help out when needed.
Christian made his way out of the water, shivering slightly when he realized that the water was warmer than the air around him. He was on his way back to his towel when he noticed a beautiful young woman laying near him. Being a typical straight male, Christian noticed how gorgeous she was; Super Model gorgeous. Christian made his way over to her and sat down beside her, totally comfortable in his own skin.
"So, there aren't many people on the beach today," he commented.
