Deep dark hues of blues mingled with the show white cloud in the overhead sky. In the early hours of the afternoon, the park was reeming with life. Vibrant plants grew, strategically placed among the parks for visitors to admire. Not too many occupied the park at the moment, just the way Raina preferred it. Sure she enjoyed the company of others, but on a cool , crisp day like this, peace and quiet was better. She shuffled her feet, her light blue eyes focused on the grown as she slowly meandered through the park. Ahh, the simple pleasures of doing absolutely nothing. Parks were a common place for Raina to gather her thoughts, just as she was doing today. Alot had been on her mind lately, and she didn't know how to release all of those thoughts. She usually knew someone she could say something to, so being in this situation where no one was there to confide in was somewhat of a problem. But she definitely wasn't one to mope around about it. She'd been through worse predicaments, so this wasn't too life changing for her. Raina had always dealed with rough times in her life, and in fact now it was almost a natural inclination.
A soft breeze rolled by, making the plants and trees rythmically sway. Sudden noises noises caught Raina's attention as she looked to see what it was. I must of been hearing something else She thought as she seated herself on a wooden park bench. She dusted off the debris of dirt and other objects that trailed on her lengthy jeans. Her eyes wandering about the park, seeing the massive, towering trees placed near the playground area, and well as near benches to provide shade. Raina leaned back into the bench, inhaling the refreshing scents roaming throught the park.
Raina leaned her head back on the bench as her mind settled deep into thought. What in the world was she going to do with her life? She didn't have a job, she didn't know anyone, and had no previous goals set for her life before she left home. She really didn't know why. All her life she knew to prepare early, but then her procrastination overcame her will. Old memories rolled through her mind of previous jobs she had. Like the time she was in a band. That didn't last long..barely even a month. She'd find something to occupy her time here. She'd wanted a job in modeling, but was somewhat reluctant to go. It seemed like a fickle dream, and frivolous idea. Sure it was something she wanted, but she felt as if it was something she coulnd't achieve. She had some experience before, but wasn't sure if that was enough. But maybe she should get a stable job as well, something she knew could support her. In a city like this, there were plenty of model wannabes, and she didn't want to be assumed as one of them, so that was another reason that added to her reluctance.
Ina situatuion where she didn't know what to do with her life, she needed someone's input. Whether be a caring friend, or an apathertic stranger, anything would help at this point. Emotions such as this reallt confused Raina, since she was such an independent person, and she needed help from another. It was soemthing that made her question her own inner strength in times like this.

Jacky's ears pulsed with the sound of music. The brunette's stride matched her soundtrack to life with perfect ease. Jacky's green eyes searched the quiet park as she walked the concrete path. The music of her life spilled into her ears, its beat non-stop. The girl passed a woman and nodded her head slightly, her hood shaking a bit.
She wore a white jacket, with furr around the hood, that framed her face in a large curve. The jacket stopped below her bust, and revealed a red t-shirt that stopped about two inches above her jeans. The low rise jeans fit loose, and went down to her fuzzy brown boots.
And as she walked she was thankful for what she had, but still she always found herself wanting more. I shouldn't be like that ... She chided herself, But I am. She counteracted. "And now I am talking to myself in my head. Great." She said aloud over the music.
She pressed pause on her iPod as she noticed a girl on a small park bench looking pretty much stressed out. She was not a weirdo, but she was not apposed to talking to strangers. "Hey..." She said taking a seat. "You look like you are having a bad day." She said simply, letting the girl elaborate if she wanted.

Raina lifted her gaze from the concrete pathway of the park to the stranger that sat beside her. It was odd that she would just approach her that way. She was used to having people just pass by without a care. Especially in the places she formerly lived. So the kindness of a stranger astounded her for a moment. A small grin crossed her face as she focused on the young girl near her. Somehow, she didn't even know how to start with issues, but she'd confide a few of the current problems.
Well, I guess you could say that. She stated with a soft sigh. She collected the recent thought, ideas , and opinions that had troubled her recently. Raina often needed to do such things before expressing herself verbally. I must say, some things have been bothering me lately concerning some important things in life. A career, personal life, those types ofthings. Raina added, listing those items which put her in this mood. Raina honestly didn't know how she let herself into this mess. She usually was just fine with her life, but now, that happiness seemed like more of a facade than ever. Her understanding of what triggered these feeling wasn't too clear either. She figured her past coulnd't attribute to a situation like this.
Also, I do appreciate you for your concern. Raina said said, a look of expression painted upon her face. Thankfulness and gratitude were emotions, she wasn't accustomed to sharing with others. Maybe since those two weren't things she'd really experienced much. Except for the fact she was thankful to be alive, and to get away from her family.
Raina then brushed a fallen leaf from her hair, her mind focusing at the problem at hand. How to make her life something more enjoyable than it had been in the previous years. Those memories seemed to always linger on when she tried to get through rough times in life. She wished to just erase them all together. Raina would rather be oblivous to that than experience those events and learn from them.
[ooc: Sorry, my muse is running thin]

The brunette leaned back against the rough wood of the bench. Her ears were pricked and intent on the other speaking, and her eyes held the woman's gaze. Sometimes Jacky thought that people pegged her a weird for being so caring in such a harsh world, but then she reminded herself that it was because they were just not used to her ways, like she was not to theirs.
She smirked a bit before speaking. "Well," she said in a deep and knowing voice. "Everyone has these probelms. And they get easier to deal with if you ask yourself one question." She said. "What is it, that you want more than anything out of life? Once you find that out, then the rest just ..." She peered out over the park, and her eyes traced the trees to the sky. The green orbs reflected the slate blue with intense color. "Falls into place." She finally finished her thought.
She shook her head. "Listen to me!" She laughed. "Trying to give someone older than I am advice." She whipped a brown trendle from her face, "What are you like ... 23?" She asked. She looked at the woman with a keen eye.
[Thats ok! I am too!]
