MYSELF;
OOC Name; Cassie.
CHARACTER;
Full Name; Raquel Kennedy George. Nicknames; Kell. Age; TwentyTwo.
APPEARANCE;
Build; In a overall sense, there are many attributes to this female’s body that make her attractive and she, at times, can take advantage of them but does not flaunt, it’s really not her forte. Raquel is quite tall, standing at about the height of 5’8, but when you glimpse her, you don’t get the sense of a ‘large’ person, probably because her body is in proportion with her height so she doesn’t at all seem giraffe like. Most of her height is based on her shapely legs, which seem to reach to her chin. These are one of her most desirable traits of course. A womanly, but not noticeably so torso lifts gracefully from her pelvis, shaping in a soft curve of the hips, then dwindling to a rather small midsection. The blonde has always managed to stay toned, not thin. There is a large line that Raquel has always been careful not to overstep, the line between shapely and thin. Of course, like any girl she strives not to fall to far ahead on the scale, but all in all, she finds jutting bones and a skeletal appearance disgusting, and though she has treaded there at points, becoming pregnant definitely gave her more of a curvaceous figure and probably crushed any hope of returning to a skeletal mess. So, instead of becoming slender based on whether she can manage to skip a couple meals for a few days, or vomit them into a toilet, Raquel exercises. A quick fix after giving birth was never an option for her, and she had become committed to re-achieving her attractive figure the healthy way. Working part-time at a gym helped give her easy access to exercise equipment and experienced help, and once she got down to her original weight, she proceeded to add some muscle and tone simply because she could. Now, Raquel hasn’t allowed herself to become really muscled, so much that she might loose her feminine appearance, more so she has just become firm and strong, perfect in her mind for a young mother to be. Breasts have never been enlarged, but are only a somewhat modest C cup and have not really changed since she was about sixteen. In any case, there is by no means any resemblance between Raquel and lets say, Pamela Anderson, but she is attractive in her own, and she’s relatively content with her overall shape.
Hair; Raquel’s hair, perhaps one of her most lovely features and the heart of her embellishment. Thick since childhood, it is full and bodied, hanging naturally in loose large waves and when it comes to length, Raquel has never cut it above her shoulders. The colour is not natural, well not entirely so, considering that she has lightened it considerably and has been doing so since she was fourteen. Almost platinum overall, there are also a multiple, yet natural looking streaks in the hair, ranging from a deep caramelized blonde, to a dark, nearly coffee coloured tint at the roots. Raquel shampoos and conditions her hair every single day, which though she has been advised is bad for the hair; she hardly minds and uses only the best quality shampoo line with infused conditioners. The hair in return is luscious, soft and shiny, just the type of hair men love to run through their hands. It does not take much to style, only a bit of curl mousse that just keeps Raquel’s own natural waves in place and on the occasional day she wears it straight, her hair can be a little uncooperative, but in the end with straighten it out with a flat iron.
Eyes; For the most part, the category that follows along with having luscious blonde locks is having bright, baby blue eyes. Strangely enough, Raquel’s eyes are anything but an unclouded blue. Instead, bright and inquisitive chocolate eyes are the main feature of her face. They are warm and soft like a child’s, making her seem calm and gentle, which she can be at times. They are almond shaped, lined with thick black lashes that she acquires to give a coating of mascara. Raquel doesn’t usually go to dramatic with her eye make-up, but occasionally she will line them with a contrasting colour, or use a drastic shadow to bring them out. Light lavender is her favourite colour to wear as a shadow. It brings out the glorious warmth and darkness of her eyes, and makes her light peach ivory complexion look doubly bright.
Nose; The nose? Well, I guess you could say that Raquel has an ‘average’ nose. It isn’t medievalist and pointed, or grotesquely large. Instead, the bridge is straight and clean, and she has what most people would refer to as a button nose.
Lips; Raquel’s lips are uniquely lovely, and she does appreciate them occasionally. Well shaped, her light rose pink lips are relatively full, but not overly so, and thus she doesn’t have that horrible ‘fish’ look and instead, her lips are subtly gorgeous, nothing outrageous. Usually, she will cover them with a light shine gloss, and condition them with lip balm whenever she gets the chance. They are smooth and soft, and open up to reveal a charming, and slightly mischievous white smile. The blonde’s teeth are straight and a pristine white, since oral care is something Raquel takes seriously in teaching her young son and practicing herself.
Tattoos; Raquel never really favoured tattoos, but as she got a little older, she decided that getting one or two wouldn’t hurt anything. A small purple hibiscus flower on her shoulder blade is the only tattoo she has currently. The flower symbolizes new life and adoration, and Raquel got it a year after her son Kelan was born.
Scars; Everyone has a few minor, unnoticeable scars, simply from childhood. Raquel is the same, having a few nicks that turned into small white scars, but besides that, Raquel has a long scar at the base of her flat stomach from having a c-section when giving birth to her son. The birth had intense complications, resulting in Kelan being at a strange position and causing internal bleeding in Raquel. The doctors were able to remove her tiny son and stem the internal bleeding inside Raquel, but she remained in the hospital for three months after the birth because her body rejected the stitched incision of the c-section but after she had completely healed, she had Kelan were discharged from the hospital.
Flaws; Raquel considers the scar from the c-section a huge flaw, though it has faded considerably and only appears as a thin white line about five inches long. Other then that, you could of course pick at her appearance for certain flaws, but why bother?
Piercing; The top of her left ear and her earlobes only, otherwise Raquel has no piercings. Usually she wears a pair of small golden hoops in her lobes that were a gift from her mother for her sixteenth birthday, the year she became pregnant with Kelan.
PERSONALITY;
Personality; Raquel’s personality has many intense faults and high points, but the life events she has endured has changed her in a noticeable way. Instead of keeping a constant, basic personality, Raquel has become a little mysterious, giving different shades of her personality to different people. An example would be when she is dealing with her seven-year-old son. With Kelan, she is the picture of fun, playfulness, and care, yet with others, she can be cold and unforgiving. Yes, for the most part, Raquel is a happy individual. When she is happy, her eyes take a luminous shine and sparkle, and she can rarely keep a glowing smile from her pink mouth. She’s energetic and eager to be mischievously playful, and she can have an intense way about her that just draws people to want to be with her, yet at the same time, she can be completely rash and harsh. Many people have suffered under her wraith when they attempt to get close to her when she is feeling vulnerable, and she is by no means hesitant in telling people what they’ve done to upset her. Thus, some people have simply chosen not to be around her anymore, while the people that truly know her well wait out these rough patches and enjoy her intensely when she is once again content. Patience isn’t really something that Raquel has for anyone, except her son Kelan, and even then, she has to remember that he is only young. She was once her parent’s princess, so when she takes on snobbish or bratty forms, it’s to be expected. Seductive? Yes, of course the young blonde has mastered this art, but only to a degree she agrees is appropriate. Raquel was never an easy individual, and though people questioned this when she became pregnant and the father of her child was no where to be found, she made sure that their doubt was only temporary. She considers her reputation for a well brought up, educated woman very serious, and she hates it when people lower themselves enough to talk about others.
Now, don’t get confused. Raquel can be full of energy and delight, and her laugh is beautiful, and not rare when she is in the company of people she likes or loves.

PAST;

Jacquelyn George, Mother, Fifty-Three.

History;
Jacquelyn Carl was the socialite of her decade, the princess of the scene, and doted upon by nearly anyone who hoped to secure a piece of her fame and fortune for themselves. People in turn, surrounded Jacquelyn nearly constantly, and she was rarely at home with her loving widowed father at their estate in Georgia. Instead, she occupied herself by attending all the events she could handle, using her whit and charm to make sure all the eyes of the male population at these parties on her. All seemed to flock to her side, demanding that she dance with them; date them, and the like. None really appealed, that is, until a certain young man caught her intentions. Fin George, dressed to impress and by far the most heavenly looking person at the party, little did Jacquelyn know, Fin had only come with a wealthy close friend, he himself was middle class and that was all. Though, who could blame him for not spilling the truth about his wealth when Jacquelyn approached him and batted her gorgeous eyes.
It was not all pleasure for Fin, for in fact, the more time the two spent together, the more Jacquelyn came to love Fin’s modest, down-to earth nature. The two’s relationship blossomed, all without the knowledge of Fin’s class. The man kept this a secret for nearly three years, until the two were married in Hawaii, all on Jacquelyn’s bill. Now, Fin was not marrying the girl for her wealth, he truly did love her and their expected child, but when Jacquelyn gave birth to the couple’s daughter Raquel, he confessed that he was not rich, and his family lived in a small home in Georgia, not in Berlin where he had told Jacquelyn his parents lived in splendour. Needless to say, Jacquelyn was crushed, and separated herself and her new-born daughter from Fin and moved back with her aunt and uncle, who became like a second pair of parents to the young Raquel while her mother pined away at her loss of love. The child grew up happily, her mother always seemed in good state when Raquel was with her, but truly, Jacquelyn was unhappy. Raquel grew to a young woman, much like her mother though instead of basing her happiness on wealth, Raquel attended a public school, had many friends, and even the occasional boyfriend. For the most part, the sixteen-year-old blonde lived in simple happiness, dating for fun and not considering it anything else. She never found love in any of her relationships, but that changed upon meeting a certain person.
Talan McInnis was the most sought after guy in all of Athens, yet Raquel simply kept their relationship a close friendship, nothing more, simply because she was stubborn, and would hate to fall for a guy that had so many women at his beck and call. But, she had no control over her emotions, and when Talan admitted that he wanted her to be his, she had kissed his lips with all the intense wanting she had hidden over the months. The two had a whirlwind summer relationship; full of play, romance, and eventually, Raquel grew to love her newfound boyfriend. She had been by no means considered an easy girl in her school, but to everyone’s surprise, even her own, she slept with Talan, throwing her inhibitions away and loosing herself in the affection she felt for this boy. Talan was not the angel Raquel saw though, at least not to her devoted mother, aunt, and uncle and they soon sought to end her relationship with the resident ‘bad-boy’ by keeping her under watchful eyes constantly and giving her no room to detour. Obviously, this put stress on the relationship, and when Raquel did manage to see Talan, it became apparent just how many girls he surrounded himself with. She had always known Talan had many girls that were his friends, but now something that had never mattered suddenly became a haunted vision in her mind. She rarely got to escape her chaperons, had this caused Talan to become bored and move on? Unable to handle this notion, Raquel ended the relationship, blaming it on the fact that her family was moving to Florida, but word circulated round their school, and Raquel doubted Talan didn’t know the true reason. So, she kissed his cheek delicately, then she drove out of the school parking lot, and out of the life she had always known. The family did move to Florida, and for a brief while, Raquel believed maybe this was for the best, and despite the fact that her jeans had become tighter, she had adjusted. Then, while getting dressed one afternoon to go out with her friends, Raquel took a good look in the mirror before pulling on her shirt. Her stomach had grown considerably, and until now, it had been barely noticeable, but now, there was no denying the steadily increasing bump. She cancelled her night out, and instead drove herself to the drug store, in which she bought a pregnancy test.
The rest is history. Positive had flashed over the multiple tests Raquel took, and throwing them against the wall, Raquel sobbed into her hands. She had slept with no one but Talan, and now was pregnant with his child, and she was millions of miles from him. For hours, her hand picked up her cell phone, debating whether to call and tell him, but eventually, she decided against it. He would not want this; she didn’t even want this. Raquel confided in no one, and continued her high school education till she received her diploma, but then, she told her mother a lie, that she would be attending a college in Georgia and would be staying with her friends there till her year finished. She flew back to her original home, moved in with her father Fin George, and steadily relocated her best friend and confided in her. As she came closer to he due date, she became frightened. She didn’t want to face this alone, and needed someone. She needed Talan. She told her friend this, and her friend crushed her in an embrace, telling her Talan was gone. After this, Raquel decided she would face this all alone, and when she did go into labour, she allowed no one to know that she had gone to the hospital. The birth had complications. Her baby had become strained in a strange position, puncturing Raquel and causing internal bleeding in the young mother. A c-section was the only way to save the baby, and thus, Kelan was born. He was healthy, but small, but the concern was now for his mother, who was near death from loss of blood. The doctors worked quickly, and Raquel survived, but her body rejected the incision across her stomach and she remained in sight of the doctors for four months, when then she and her newborn boy could return home. Because of horrible rumours, her father arranged for Raquel and her now four month old son to move to L.A. Her father gave her all the money he could afford, then bought her and her child a plane ticket.

The young boy’s face was simply priceless as without a second of hesitation, he grasped the basketball and dribbled down the stained wood of the court, lining up for an easy lay-up shot before shooting skilfully and grinning from ear to ear as the orange ball dropped through the white mesh of the basket. In a second, a flurry of seven-year-old boys in bright white and green jerseys raced up to Kelan, enveloping him in a tackle and all of them falling to the floor in a rousing sound of laughing and cheering. Sitting on a bench, the young blonde brushed back a strand of her honey blonde locks from her flushed, smiling expression as she clapped vigorously and laughed as the frame of her young son managed to work his way free of the crushing mass of fellow players. There was no doubt about it; Kelan was already a rising to glorious popularity, here with his school basketball team, and in the classroom. This had been the first game that Raquel had managed to make, and she felt pride rising up in her as she giggled and grinned as her son made his way over to her. He had just made the winning basket, and his mom had been here to see it. Did it get any better then this? Jumping down off the side of the metal stands, the blonde laughed and wrapped her soon in a tight hug, grinning playfully as he scoffed then pushed away from her in embarrassment.
“Mom, come on.”
The playful smile on his face made Raquel grin and nod, backing up and running a loving hand over his head. He was everything she could have wanted for her son, and more. The personality he had developed was enchanting; he was doing well in all of his classes, and was extremely athletic.
“Your right, you smell to bad to be hugging me.”
The blonde replied as she began ushering him towards the gym exit, sneaking delicately past the buzzing coach, and even worse, the other player’s fathers. Most of them assumed she was Kelan’s babysitter, not his mother, so they found it fine to flirt unhesitantly, even though they were at least twice her age. Coming out of the gym unharmed, Raquel lifted the keys from her pocket as the two jogged toward the car. Kelan understood only to well why his mom was so eager to leave, he had heard enough from his team about what their father’s thought of his mom. It disgusted him, and he wanted his mom to like coming to watch him play his most beloved sport, not crumple up in a corner of the gym to avoid the other parents. As they both slid into the car, Kelan pushed a couple of cardboard boxes away from his seat. Raquel hadn’t quite finished unpacking all of their possessions into the hotel room she had secured for a month. The thought made her bite her bottom lip with uncertainty. She only had enough money presently to afford staying in a hotel for a month, what would happen when she that month ran out? Hopefully, she would have enough money for a down payment, but that was unlikely. She owed it to Kelan to do better then this, and she owed it to herself to prove she could be independent, and that you did not always have to be in a marriage to have children. Not that two incomes didn’t sound ideal. Turning at a corner, the young blonde located a grocery store with her dark chocolate eyes, turning into the parking lot quickly.
“OK, Kelan I’ll only be a second, I just have to pick up some stuff for us to eat tonight.”
Raquel pulled the car into park, deciding to leave the car on so that it would stay heated while she made a quick dart to buy some items. Turning round to regard her son, she smiled softly as she looked at him. The boy had already drifted off to sleep.
