Shopping. Hardly something Sienna liked doing. You couldn't really call her a tomboy but there were more important things for a young lady like her to be doing. Especially one with a daughter and boyfriend. But in LA, who could resist taking a walk down Rodeo Drive every now and then? Besides, she had to buy a new outfit for a party at the weekend. Well, a party, more like her parents anniversary. Not exactly a rave now huh?
She still wasn't feeling great, she definitely wasn't back to her normal self. She'd only just managed to persuade Lane to let her out of the house on her own. She still had a scar on the back of her head, it wasn't visible through her hair but she could feel it, and the stitches weren't all out yet. And she was still a little bit upset about the fact she miscarried. Lane and her had been completely thrilled at the fact she was pregnant but then it was just over, like that. She couldn't say she wasn't jealous of Destiny. Her sister was quite close to her due date now, her and Talan were getting everything ready, the nursery and everything. They weren't as close as before, well it didn't seem that way anyway, and she hadn't spoken to Talan since. She felt pretty bad about it still but she felt too embarrassed to speak to him.
She looked into the window of Coco Chanel, spotting a nice dress she could probably wear. It was a light blue dress with cute little black flowers on it. So she went inside to look around. No, it looked better in the window than it did on her. She'd look somewhere else. Her hand reached out to open the door, looking down at a little card she'd just been given by the cashier. She opened the door, stepping out onto the street, her head still down. She felt herself collide with someone else and she stumbled backwards, her head snapping up to see the person she'd banged into.
Shit... She really chose her timings...

The night of the accident was horrible. That’s what Talan kept trying to convince himself of - that it was an accident. It wasn’t his fault. That wasn’t actually working to well. He felt guilty. He had been at the hospital supporting Destiny the entire time she waited for Sienna to wake. It was hard for him. Not so much because of the guilt, but more because he had a lot of bad memories of being in hospitals. The longer they had stayed there, the more anxious he had gotten to leave. Still, he was able to push his anxiety aside to continue supporting his pregnant girlfriend. It didn’t take long for him to leave after Sienna finally woke up though. He had been neglecting the club and he should have been there more, but he had stayed with Destiny, wanting to be a good boyfriend. When Sienna had woken, he had called up Kris, his most trusted worker, at the club and asked him to handle things.
For Talan, being a hospital was a nightmare. He had hid it well, but Destiny had picked up on something and it had caused a little bit of a tiff with them. Hospitals were just full of bad reminders of not only things he had done, but pain he had endured. He had been beaten, stabbed, and even shot. Most of the time it was by people he had trusted. It wasn’t just the pain from the wounds he suffered that was bad, but the recovery afterwards. His weight would drop from lack of activity, and not enough food. Sure, they gave him food, but hospital food was disgusting. He just hated hospitals. There really isn’t all that much to it. When he had woken in a cold sweat from having nightmares a couple times, Destiny would ask what was wrong and he had dreamt. He would just tell her it was just from being in the hospital, but wouldn’t tell her to much. Most of the time, he remembered choking on his own blood from being shot in the lung. Sometimes he wondered why he was still there.
He just wasn’t ready to tell her about his past. He had told Sydney the night he had saved her, but he kept finding excuses to himself not to tell Destiny. Perhaps he was to afraid to lose her. Could she really accept him knowing that stuff about him? Sydney had, but she understood. Her past wasn’t all that pretty either. He knew he should just trust in his and Destiny’s love, that she would love him enough to see past this, but he just couldn’t. Now he had been telling himself that she was under too much stress, and the last thing he wanted to do was add to that. With what happened to Sienna, her constantly worrying about his relationship with Sydney, decorating their new home, and still raising three little girls - who he was becoming increasingly attached to - the last thing he wanted to do was cause her more stress or something.
These were all things on his mind these days. It was becoming increasingly frustrating to keep reassuring Destiny that he wouldn’t leave her and their baby all alone. He couldn’t imagine the kind of things she was thinking about him and Sydney. The bottom line remained though, he hardly ever got to his friend. He was in Destiny’s bed every night and almost always with her throughout the day. He didn’t even have time to cheat on her even if he had wanted to, which he didn’t of course. He couldn’t deny he had feelings for Sydney. No, that wasn’t true. He did deny it. He denied it to Destiny. He denied it to Sydney. He denied it to all of his friends. Most of all, he denied it to himself. He denied it to the point of believing it.
Today, he was picking up some more things for the nursery. The house they had gotten was brand new, and all the walls were white. Instead of paying other people to paint the walls, he liked to do it himself with the help of some friend and Destiny as well, though he didn’t like her to exert herself to much. He had some nice stenciling things that he had bought, but thought he would stop and get her something nice from a jewelry store or something. In fact, he was looking at engagement and wedding rings. That was all they needed now for their entire family to be complete. Marriage. He was headed to Tiffany’s now in some denim jeans, black boots, and a green tee under his black leather jacket.
When the person ran into him, having not paid attention to where she was going very well, he stopped suddenly. He wasn’t really phased by it, but as the woman stumbled, he reached to catch her and steady her. His grip on her arm was firm, but still gentle. His eyes fell upon the female and widened slightly as he saw who it was. When he was sure she was alright, he let go and shifted the bag he held from one hand to the other. This was rather awkward. He hadn’t seen her since the hospital. Destiny was about five and a half months along now. It felt bad to be excited about having a baby when you knew they had lost theirs. It was hard to be angry with her about what she had done when he knew what she must be going through. He gave her a friendly smile, as best he could, and asked, “You alright?”
{ooc - sorry if it's all over the place, kinda blah}

Sienna felt the person grab her amr just as she looked up. Their eyes met and she immediatly looked to the floor again. Great. The one person she was trying to avoid. Well above Destiny anyway. If she saw her sister the way she was with a swelling stomach and baby stuff all over the place, she was sure she'd end up screaming at her or something. But then it wasn't Destiny's fault really, Sienna shouldn't have done what she did, then she wouldn't have had to go find Destiny and trip on the stairs. Her head snapped up again as he spoke. "I guess. Sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." She replied, looking to the bags he was holding in his hands. Baby stuff. She opened her mouth as if to speak but held it back. The way it'd come across would probably make him hate her even more. He was a gentleman, he still put up with her when she went to see her parents and Destiny was there but she figured there was still alot of tension between them. Well, from her side anyway.
She'd been completely pissed off when her parents got back from their vacation. She'd just got out of hospital and of course, that worried them. But they blamed everything on Lane. Destiny had told them she was pregnant and they were over the moon, but when Sienna told them she had been pregnant but miscarried they seemed to think it was better that way. She could see why her parents didn't like Lane, but he was different now. She loved him and there was nothing they could do about it. And thinking about it, she was going to try all she could to get pregnant now. Everything just to piss them off even more. She'd always looked up to her parents, but since her mom made her lie and tell the courts she'd been raped, they'd both seriously lost her trust. Destiny was their little angel, blonde hair, blue eyes. And then there was the twins, Chase and Bailey couldn't do any wrong. Then Sienna, the rebellious one, the one that hadn't met their expectations.
She looked towards Talan, biting her lip a little. "Uh, listen. Do you want to go grab some coffee? I think we should probably talk." She said before she even really realised what was coming out of her mouth. She'd just asked Talan, her sisters boyfriend and the guy she'd tried to kiss for coffee. God, she just hoped he didn't take it the wrong way.

There was a bit of an awkward silence and Talan just kind of looked around. He couldn’t imagine what she was thinking. Her look at his bag didn’t go unnoticed. That was just great, remind her of what she had lost. There was no point in trying to hide the bag. He was immensely sorry about her loss, but he wasn’t going to be sorry for him and Destiny having a baby. Since he had found out about the pregnancy he had been overjoyed. It was unfortunate what had happened to Sienna, but he wasn’t going to feel sorry for being happy about the child they were expecting. He didn’t rub it in their face either. He was very sensitive to their feelings.
There was a lot hard feelings between Sienna and her parents. Destiny had told him everything about the past and all that had happened. He wasn’t used to that sort of thing. His own family was much different. They talked things out and everything was always about understanding where each other was coming from. He understood both side of the situation in Destiny’s family, but they weren’t understanding each other. They needed to all sit down and talk these out. He sincerely hoped that things would never be that way with him and Destiny. A huge part of him wanted to see if he could help, but then again, it wasn’t exactly his business.
He listened to her words and gave her a friendly smile, “I think that would be a good idea.” Yeah, it was definitely a good idea. He would do anything to make amends. It would be better for everybody. Besides, Talan wasn’t the type to hold grudges. He just liked to get along with everybody. She had been ‘testing’ him when she had kissed him. It was a rather stupid idea, but he understood the intention behind it. Sometimes people just don’t think things out fully. He knew all to well what it was like to do something thinking it was the best course of action, and then think back on it later and be like, “what the hell was I thinking?” because it really made no sense.
